Instructions for Authors
Final manuscript
Authors of regular (long) papers should decide whether they want their paper to be published in a special issue of Performance Evaluation (PEVA) or in a special issue of the ACM Performance Evaluation Review (PER). Short papers and abstracts for accepted posters will appear in a special issue of PER. Authors of accepted posters should note that the title should start with "Poster: ".
Please take the reviewers' comments into account when preparing the final manuscript. Obviously, the authors' names and affiliations should be mentioned in the final version. Journal specific instructions can be found below. Please send all files to Marko Boon before July 15! For any questions regarding the preparation of the final manuscript, please contact Marko Boon.
Revised versions of papers that are being shepherded should be approved by the Shepherd (via the TPC chairs) prior to submitting the final manuscript. Such papers should be provided to the Shepherd for review before July 15, 2011. Please upload a pdf of the revised version as a camera ready paper in EDAS. For this submission, please use the original submission guidelines (double line spacing, etc.). Following the Shepard approval, final versions of the manuscript should be sent to Marko Boon by July 20, 2011.
Performance Evaluation
Authors should provide the source file (either LaTeX using the standard 'article' document class, or MS Word) and all images as separate files. For the camera-ready version single line spacing should be used. The page limit is at most 18 pages.
Additionally, all authors also should provide a short biography plus a recent high-quality photograph (again, as separate files).
Performance Evaluation Review
Authors should provide the source file and all images as separate files. The following LaTeX document class should be used:
http://bourbon.usc.edu/leana/misc/per/sig-alternate-per.cls
in combination with the bibliography style 'abbrv'. Authors of short papers should note that this style is almost (but not entirely) identical to the one used previously. Most likely, there is no need to change anything else except for the document class.
The page limit is at most 12 pages for long papers, 3 pages for short papers, and 1 page for poster abstracts. .
Copyright form
Authors submitting their manuscript to PEVA will receive a copyright form after they have submitted the source files of the camera-ready version. PER does not require authors to fill out a copyright form, because there are no copyright issues with PER, and thus authors retain the copyright of their work with complete freedom to submit their work elsewhere (as indicated in the CFP).
Author registration
Each paper or poster submission must be accompanied by a registration of at least one of the authors before July 15, 2011, in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Further instructions regarding the registration, fees and payment may be found on the registration page.
