The focus of this new workshop is to elicit discussion and description of application areas and open challenges in managing large-scale graph-shaped data.

Experiences including use-case descriptions, war stories and benchmarks as well as system descriptions are important ingredients of the meeting.

The workshop is co-chaired by Josep Larriba Pey (UPC) and Peter Boncz (CWI).

Workshop proceedings are in the ACM Digital Library and in DBLP.

The 2nd GRADES workshop is co-sponsored by the 3rd GraphLab Conference, an exciting event with 700+ researchers from 100+ companies dedicated to large scale machine learning, to be held Monday July 21, in San Francisco.

The 2nd GRADES workshop is co-sponsored by the Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC), EU project that aims to establish industry cooperation on graph database benchmarks, benchmark practices and benchmark results. Check out its ongoing work on the Social Network Benchmark on github.
