                Software Operation Data Mining

The presenter will give an overview of her prior research on the use
of data mining techniques for the extraction of knowledge from
software operation data. Most focus is set on the extraction of
performance and usage knowledge. A set of data mining techniques were
selected to derive these two knowledge types, and were incorporated
into two methods: the Performance Mining Method and the Usage Mining
Method. The methods were validated with two prototypes, which were
implemented in R and were tested with real user logs data from Exact
Online, an online financial management and booking application. At the
end of the presentation, thought will be given on how prior knowledge
and experiences of the researcher could be useful for the project
"Next Generation Auditing: Data Assurance as a Service".
