Subject: SEN1 meeting tomorrow by Vadim From: Bas Basten To: sen1-list Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2011 11:15:04 +0100 (CET) Dear all, At tomorrow's SEN1 meeting Vadim will talk about his research into Grammar Investigation: Grammar Investigation is one of the first areas getting our attention within the Foundations of the Grammar Lab project. The objective is clear: we want to know, when working with grammars and grammarware, what exactly can we measure and what those numbers tell us? Since this talk concerns ongoing research, there will be (almost) no finalised results presented, but you will get an insightful overview of the existing software metrics, their applicability to the grammarware domain, their importance, interdependence and correlation, as well as how they correspond to size, complexity and functionality of the grammars as perceived by language engineers. We start at 10am in room L016. See you all there! Cheers, Bas
