You are hereby cordially invited for the following PEM talk by Emilie
Balland (Loria, INRIA Nancy, France):

Title: Embedding strategic rewriting into Java

Abstract: This talk will give an overview of the Tom language
(http://tom.loria.fr). This DSL provides higher level language
constructs piggybacked on top of Java for describing tree traversals and
transformations. The main advantage of this embedded approach is to use
these new language statements only when necessary and to take advantage
of external Java libraries when it is more suitable. In the first part
of the talk, I will briefly present the basis of the Tom language. In
the second part, I will detail two extensions adapted for program
analysis and transformations: strategies and term-graphs.
