Nevertheless, there is a PEM tomorrow! You are cordially invited to attend a talk by Joost Visser on JJForester. This is joint work with Tobias Kuipers. This announcement can be found at Object Oriented Tree Traversal with JJForester Date: 14.12.00 Time: 10:00 Venue: M2.80 CWI Speaker: Joost Visser Title: Object Oriented Tree Traversal with JJForester We would like to use the advanced language processing technology available in the ASF+SDF Meta-Environment in combination with general purpose programming languages. In this paper, we introduce JJForester, a tool for generating class structures from SDF grammar definitions. The generated class structures implement a number of design patterns to facilitate analysis and transformation of the term that is represented by the class structure. We will discuss both the implementation of JJForester as well as its (intended) use. [Joint work with Tobias Kuipers] JJForester is available on the web at http://www.cwi.nl/~jvisser/jjforester/. _________________________________________________________________ The programming environment meetings are a forum for the presentation and discussion of new ideas, ongoing and finished work. A typical meeting addresses a subject in the area of programming environments, program generation, algebraic specification, term rewriting, parsing, etc. A presentation ideally takes between 45 and 90 minutes. Meetings taking longer than 45 minutes are interrupted by a coffeebreak. Most Thursdays, a meeting is held which starts at 10:00 am. in one of the rooms at CWI/WINS. Exceptionally, dates or times may change. The program of the meetings is available on WWW: http://www.cwi.nl/~pem _________________________________________________________________
